Polyurethane Foam Adhesive Border and Sacral Dressings
Polyurethane Foam Border and Sacrum are adherent island dressing consisting of 2 layers:
· Hydrophilic Polyurethane Foam with high absorption capacity
· Transparent Polyurethane film backed with medical grade adhesive. This film forms a border of adhesive around the absorbing foam. The Polyurethane film is waterproof and also acts as a bacteria barrier.
· Also available -Polyurethane Foam Adhesive coated, non woven border dressings with absorbing viscose island
Indications:
Polyurethane Foam is used for the management of moderate to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds including:
· Venous and Arterial leg ulcers
· Diabetic foot ulcers
· Stage I - IV pressure ulcers
· Traumatic Wounds
· Foam Sacrum is particularly suited to dressing the sacral area
